Terms of Service

Effective date: June 17, 2026 · Last updated: June 17, 2026

Short version: RideLens is a decision-support tool. It grades offers to help you make faster decisions — it does not guarantee earnings or outcomes. Use it at your own discretion and in compliance with Uber's and Lyft's Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using RideLens ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

RideLens is a mobile application for Android and for iPhone and iPad. It reads rideshare offer cards from driver apps such as Uber and Lyft using on-device text recognition, and displays a real-time grade (GREEN, YELLOW, RED). Grades are based on pay per hour, pay per mile, and trip length, compared against your own thresholds (gross figures; vehicle and fuel costs are not deducted).

RideLens only reads and displays. It never taps Accept, Decline, Match or any other control in a driver app, on either platform. Every decision remains yours.

How the screen is read on each platform:

3. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use as a rideshare driver. You may not:

4. Rideshare Platform Compliance

RideLens is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Uber Technologies, Inc., Lyft, Inc., or any other rideshare platform.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of RideLens complies with the Terms of Service of Uber, Lyft, and any other rideshare platform you use.

RideLens does not automate anything inside a driver app. It cannot and does not accept, decline, match or otherwise act on an offer on your behalf, on Android or on iPhone and iPad. It reads what is already on your screen and shows you the numbers; you make and take every action yourself.

5. No Earnings Guarantee

RideLens provides grading based on the offer's pay per hour, pay per mile, and trip length (gross figures, before vehicle/fuel costs), compared against your own thresholds. This is informational only. We make no representations or warranties that:

Trip durations, traffic, and earnings can vary. Always use your own judgment.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING LOST EARNINGS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

8. Screen Reading Permission

On iPhone and iPad (App Store). RideLens reads the screen only while you have started a screen broadcast yourself, through the system's own consent sheet. Frames are processed in memory on your device and discarded immediately; nothing is recorded, stored or uploaded. The system recording indicator remains visible for as long as the broadcast runs. You can stop it at any time from inside RideLens or from Control Center. No Accessibility permission is used on iPhone or iPad.

On Android (Google Play). By granting the Accessibility Service permission, you acknowledge that the App will read text displayed in Uber Driver and Lyft Driver applications. You consent to this reading for the sole purpose of offer grading. The service is read-only — it performs no actions in those apps. You can revoke this permission at any time in Android Settings → Accessibility.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to use the App to:

10. Updates and Changes

We reserve the right to update or discontinue the App at any time. We may also update these Terms. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete it from your device.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable law.

13. Account

An account is required to use RideLens. You are responsible for providing accurate sign-in information and for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You can delete your account and associated cloud data at any time in Settings → Account → Delete Account.

14. Subscription & Billing

RideLens is a subscription product with a 15-day free trial. After the trial, continued use requires a subscription — $5.99/month or $47.99/year (prices may vary by region and are shown in the app before purchase). RideLens contains no ads. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Prices and availability may change.

On iPhone and iPad (App Store). Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through In-App Purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of that period. You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your Apple Account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Apple's payment, renewal, cancellation and refund policies apply.

On Android (Google Play). Subscriptions are sold and processed through Google Play Billing and are subject to Google Play's payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund policies. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Google Play account.
